Kyle Purdy, a 1999 Fremont High School graduate, completed his MBA degree in December
2008 at Grand Valley State University. Purdy is a senior accountant with the accounting
firm of Hungerford, Aldrin, Nichols and Carter of Grand Rapids. A licensed CPA, he earned
his BA degree from GVSU in 2003. He and his wife Nicole and daughter Megan live on the
east side of Grand Rapids. He is the son of Darl and Joan Purdy of Fremont.

He began his training on July 2, 2007 in the Automotive Technology and Management
Program, and also completed specialty courses in Motorsport Chassis Fabrication
and High Performance Power Trains. He received the Outstanding Student award for
his academic achievement, leadership and dedicated effort. He was also a Peet Tutor
and maintained perfect attendance throughout his program.
