No big disagreements in 70 years of marriage

It was December of 1938. Franklin Roosevelt was president, the Yankees defeated
the Cubs in the World Series, Spencer Tracy won the Oscar for “Captains Courageous,”
Hitler was starting to gobble up Europe, oil was discovered in Kuwait, Orson Welles’
radio reading of “War of the Worlds” sparked panic, and the country
was trying to pull itself out of tough economic times.
And Arnold Woodring took Mildred Wheeler as his bride.
