I have many ties yet in Fremont and many close friends still live there. I moved away in 1965 to go to college in Lansing. My sister and brother are also grads of FHS. I have remarked to all my close friends how WONDERFUL it was growing up in Fremont and how GREAT the SCHOOL always was!!…

I had many memorable teachers and administrators during my years in Fremont Public Schools, including Elsie Geeting, Bessie Slaughterback, John Leckrone and others. The two most influential to me were Bob Kraai and Bob Eisner, who patted me on the head or elsewhere when I needed it…
